Dear participants,

after receiving multiple inquiries about the SPEED+ dataset, we decided to prepare a full release of the data, including the labels for the lightbox and sunlamp images, to the public. We hope that by releasing this data in full you will have new opportunities for interesting studies that improve our knowledge about domain gap adaptation.

As a consequence of this release, the SPEED+ post-morten challenge will be closed at 31.12.2022. This means, from next year on

• Kelvins will no longer accept submissions for Pose Estimation 2021
• The Sunlamp and Lightbox Post-mortem leaderboards will remain public but frozen
• The public dataset will be augmented by the labels

Furthermore, we are planning to release our evaluation code. With this, you will be able to compute your pose score offline without the need for submission. For the remainder of 2022, you can still submit to the post-mortem and we are curious to see, who will be on top of the leaderboards by the end of the year.
